We are more love than we are fear
These are uncertain times, to say the least. Most of us are experiencing some form of anxiety and fear. Many of us have had our lives turned upside down due to job loss or illness.
I want you to know that I’m here for you.
I have fallen into anxiety and fear myself. The Covid-19 virus and the call for social distancing and quarantine coincided with us making the difficult decision to put down our beloved dog, Zoey. My emotions have been all over the map this past week.
I have struggled to maintain a consistent yoga and meditation practice. During one meditation it dawned on me that I need to step up. I need to put my own feelings aside, as best I can, and do what I do — and that is serve others. I help others heal.
So that’s what I’m going to do — help others, namely you, dear reader, heal.
My yoga studio closed, so I’m no longer teaching classes. But I plan, very soon, to get some classes posted online. Just for you. Please stay tuned for that. (See below)
What I have learned is that we are more love than we are fear. When I feel fear, I close up and draw inward. My world becomes very small. Yet when I feel love, I open up, I expand, and I want to reach out.
I am probably just as anxious and grieving and angry and scared as you are. But my role as a yoga teacher is to help others.
I am always available for private sessions (please click here for more info). If you want to be the first to hear about my online offerings, sign up for my email list (in the sidebar on the right of this page).
Meanwhile, take a deep breath. We will get through this. Together.
